Coronavirus Policies as of 5/11/2020

Oviedo Florist is dedicated to preserving a healthy and safe Oviedo community and workplace for our designers, associates, and delivery drivers. In light of recent developments on the 2019 novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and recommendations from our officials and florist peers, we are implementing the following new guidelines regarding the order and delivery of your favorite flowers in Oviedo. We will continue to offer the same high standard of design and service for all of your floral needs! These policies and recommendations are subject to change and will be updated accordingly.

Our Policies:

• To keep in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, we ask that you comply with social distancing measures when visiting our shop. Please remain 6 feet from the nearest customer or employee at all times. You may be asked to wait outside or in your car if we reach capacity.

• Touchless Home Delivery: Our standard delivery practice is now our Touchless Home Delivery. Our delivery driver may ring the doorbell, knock, or even call to inform recipients that their flowers are out for delivery, and drop off the flowers on the front doorstep of the recipient’s home. The driver will maintain social distancing protocol and ensure that the flowers are received into the hands of the recipient, all without making any contact. The recipient will no longer need to sign for delivery. This limits face-to-face contact and offers a higher degree of protection for the driver and recipient.

• Touchless Pick-Up: At the customer’s request, we are now offering Touchless Pick-Up for in-store pick-up orders. Park outside of our Broadway Street location, give our shop a call to inform our associates that you are here, and we will bring your order out to your car for you. This will give you the opportunity to pick-up without coming into contact with our building or the public. Please call to place your pick-up order at 407-365-3035 and specify Touchless Pick-Up to our sales associate.

• We are not restricting any delivery zones or specific locations on the basis of Coronavirus at this time. We are continuing delivery to hospitals, private residences, businesses, universities, and all other normal locations.

Our Recommendations:

• We recommend that our customers consider allowing us to deliver to home addresses first. Delivery to public places and high traffic areas present potential complications with logistics and potential for infection. Home deliveries can be truly touchless and are safer for everyone.

• When coming to our shop for pick up: As in any public setting or situation with personal contact, please be respectful of our staff and premises. Limit your physical contact with others and high traffic surfaces. If you/the recipient are ill, it is your obligation to make the safest decisions for yourself/them and others in their community.

• Stay up to date on developments regarding Coronavirus. Visiting www.cdc.gov will give you the most accurate information.
